I have searched around and have not yet found an answer, so here's my scenario.

I have my xbox 360 hooked up to my living room home theater via hdmi. i have a second hdtv in my bedroom that is literally 15-20 feet from the xbox (bedroom and living room share wall). I have already tested and confirmed that the remote works from where i'd be playing in the bedroom (I had my wife watch the screen to see if my character was moving).

So what I want to do is be able to wirelessly stream the a/v from the xbox to the bedroom tv. Additionally, the living room tv is 1080p, bdroom tv is 720p, in case that will change things. Lastly, cost is a factor, i.e. cheapest way possible please.

Thanks!

If cost is the factor then getting a HDMI splitter and a long HDMI cable is the cheapest.
Otherwise there are some wireless HD solutions thats available like the Brite-View BV-2500 Wireless HD Video Transmitter and Receiver Kits.

Thank you for the information. That is a little steep for my budget. Unfortunately, I think I'll have to go with the wired solution.

One more question.

I currently have my xbox hooked up via HDMI and optical out. If I add an HDMI splitter and then run one signal to my bedroom, will that HDMI carry the sound as well? My concern is that by using the optical out for surround in my living room, the HDMI from the xbox will only be carrying video signal. Anyone know if that is the case?

Thanks.

Yes. My XBox is hooked up via HDMI to my LCD Display. I also have the optical out connect to my receiver. I always have sound on the tv from the HDMI cable.
