I am looking to get a network/ethernet connected security camera to use as a baby monitor. I don't like the RF transmission monitors because anyone with a receiver can watch the video stream.

My dilema is how to view the live stream on televisions in the house? My house is ethernet wired.

In my mind's eye I am picturing a small box that acts as a H.264, mpeg or mjpeg decoder with an ethernet port on one side and s-video, YUV or rca video/audio on the other. Does anyone know if such a beastie exists?

I just want to see the video/audio stream on multiple TVs so I dont have to put a laptop in each room.

Does anyone have any ideas?
