I just got rid of my cable boxes because it was too expensive, I switched to basic cable and now the coaxial comes straight from the wall. Is there an input to put that into the V867 and then it could put it to the TV by hdmi like usual? If not what kind of setup/options do I have at this point?
Yep, assuming your TV has a digital audio output, you can run a separate cable from the TV back to the receiver. If the TV is very new, that receiver supports the HDMI Audio Return channel - so it would flow over the HDMI cable without a separate wire. Only if the TV also supports it (part of HDMI v1.4).
