I even fiddled with the setup settings and still cannot figure it out . Could it be due to the fact that the cat5 is about 100ft ?

Please don't repost the same question bumping old threads...

Not likely a wiring issue, since the amplification is happening at the local end anyway.

When you say you tested the speakers - with which equipment? Did you hook them sitting on the floor to an A/V receiver? Are these in-wall/ceiling speakers? They'll certainly sound different when installed...

Too many variables - you have to change only one thing at a time.

I tested them once the speakers were installed in the ceiling after running the wires and connected to a CD changer with built in Amp . I am not worried about the amount of sound as the xantech only does 30w per channel , but the actual quality of the sound is different if I hook up the same CD changer to the source1 on the xantech ...

Hi Ravi,
Hope you are enjoying your system. I have been thinking about the same and have few questions?
How has been your experience with Xantech DIGI-5 so far?
Any issues?
Do you have the wall mount or rack mount?
Would you recommend it?
How is the overall quality of the system/keypad etc. (Build quality & audio)?
Have you encountered any bugs or severe technical issues? Any issue with IR or the Serial RS-232 port?

Hi Jautor/Eric
I see that you have have posted fairly about this DIGI-5 system. Any experience as user or installer or troubleshooter? Any know issue around build/sound quality or known system bugs/issues?

Would love to give you a call to all of you if you are OK.
Regards, Shaurya
