Ok i have searched and searched for whole house audio and itercom for my home, and for the price i cant seem to find anything that beats the HTD Lync. The only problem is that when i wired my house I only wired the for abus whole house audio.(only one cat 5 from room box to sw closet and 2 speaker wire locally at the rooms.) With htd i will have to try and run new speaker wire straight to the sw closet. Im just wandering if anyone knows of an abus system that incorporates intercom and music with the use of only 1 cat 5 to the remote zone. I may be missing something, but looks to me like htd is my best bet.

I fully agree with you. I have a Lync 12 installed now for 1 year and am very happy with it.

Don't think you're going to find anything for A-Bus, so you'll very likely need to run the speaker wire. But yes, if you want the intercom feature, not going to find any better deal than the HTD. Intercom isn't a feature of most of the competing solutions (Sonos, NuVo, Russound, etc.)...
