Okay Russound experts, need you to chime in here and advise on options.

My Zone 1 is not outputting sound to the speakers - KPL keypad and the speakers are connected to zone 1.

Now, when I change this keypad to Zone 2 and the same speakers to Zone 2, all is well.

Is it possible that I've lost the ability to power sound out for Zone 1 from the controller? Any theories?

The keypad lights up, works fine. Did something burn out on the Controller? Have you seen this before, how to fix?

Product is out of warranty, and would like to avoid getting this fixed through Russound as I'm sure it will be costly. I can live with it, since I really only need five zones.

Zone 1 has an available line output. Try using that.

You sir get the prize for obviousness!

That worked - not sure what I was thinking, or why I didn't come up with that.... Thank you!

One final question: When I turn on a zone with the keypad, there's a speaker slight 'pop'. Is this normal? I don't recall the system doing this since I've had it, and am wondering if it's related to the fact that the zone 1 speaker outputs no longer function.

Appreciate it very much!
