I pulled cable to a few locations while doing a remodel. Now I need to connect it all.

What all do I need to buy ?
  • Media Panel - one 42" enough?
  • 4 outlet AC power with surge protection (inside panel)
  • Termination tools - which sets or what all to get?
  • Misc wraps, organizers, etc?? what else?
  • 16 port patch panel (which one? this is for all Cat6)
  • 4 port telephone module (which one? receives patch from 16 port above)
  • 12 port switch (which one? receives patch from 16 port above)
  • TV module (which one? this is to route all the RG6)
  • Router - apple time capsule
  • Modem - comcast or ATT

here's what I have so far:
Seven outlets each with two RG6 and two Cat6
Comcast for internet and phone
Dish for TV
Might be changing service providers (Uverse, Directv with comcast or stick with what i have)

Thanks

I don't understand.

You received 2 installation quotes?

You should go with the OnQ quote, so you don't have to figure out anything.

Just make sure they cover you for DSL, cable, and satellite. You never know what you'll have in 5 years. Futureproof.

Leviton does not support satellite as they dont have any current multiswitches, but you can certainley pass the cables through the leviton enclosure. If you go to a cable system, their amps support HD no problem.
