Hi guys. I'm looking to setup a simple multi zone system. I plan on using airport expresses as my zones and then iPhones and iPads as sources. I need help finding an amp.

I would like 4 to 6 zones and be able to turn it on and off with my iPhone. I have everything stored in the basement under the steps so I don't want to have to go down there all the time or have to have a bunch of remotes. Thanks

Is there an auto sensing amp that will work for me? It seems like I could get multiple audio source amps but I'd prefer just one amp if possible.

HTD has multi-channel auto-sensing amps... Although between the amp and the airport expresses and the complexity that will bring (and somewhat inflexible), you should really be looking at a WHA system. Look at the HTD MCA-66 system and the HTD-Net iDevice control.

Then just a few Airports that you can select for any combination of zones.
