HDMI splitter issue - AVS Forum

I've got an HDMI splitter connected between my pioneer receiver and my displays. The out from my receiver goes to the splitter, then the two outs go to my samsung lcd (1080p) and my epson 705 (720p) projector. When I turn on the directv, blu-ray, whatever and the tv, there's no picture. It displays "no signal". I have to turn on the projector and then the tv will display an image....or get the signal. What's happening and how do I fix it?

Turn off "HDMI Control", "CEC" or anything that sounds like that. Same for "Anynet" on the Samsung TV. It's a feature supposed to help make things easier, but when you add splitters to the mix, the scheme kinda falls apart.
