I am looking for an HDMI over Cat5 extender (Active) that can run about 70' which also supports HDMI CEC control. Tried an Atlona HDMI over Cat5 product today which worked fine but does not support CEC.

I have a passive HDMI extender which has been going out a lot lately. However, it did handle CEC just fine.

Can anyone suggest an HDMI over Cat5 (Active) brand/model which supports CEC? I want something very reliable.

Please help. Thanks.

AFAIK any HDBaseT based extender will support CEC. It is built into the Valens chipsets.

The one I had installed yesterday does not. It's Atlona AT-HD4-SI40-SR.

I would've thought that also but now I am stuck having to find another unit.
