Im a newbie here and looking for advice to what I have decided to do for my whole house audio / video solution .
Budget is a bit small , here is the layout

6 locations total 2 for music and video 4 additional zones for just music

For whole house sounds ....pick up a used Niles 6 zone that comes with 4 wall units ( add one more wall unit and use remote for main) 30 watts a channel ..4 sources in .....6 zones out

Pair with a new denon 3313 ( this unit can send hdmi two differnet locations) . Each location can view different items , or same ) solves the issue of one DVR box also

Denon to run main viewing area ( 7.1) ...niles to control rest ( stereo )

Is there a flaw in my thinking there ? contractor is already to run speaker wire to remote locations ( as part of a remodel ) , I just need to run Cat 5 also I believe .

The idea being that when i rent the house , renters can easily hit a wall panel and select source and volume . I plan on using a good installer after I get the gear .

Let me know your thoughts . I appreciate it !
