I recently purchased a H/K AVR 700 receiver to use with my JBL CS480 5.1 system and an LG 47" LED 3d smart tv. My A/V source for this instance is a verizon fios dvr box using an HDMI cable.

My problem is I have sound, but no video.
Ive got the receiver hooked up and the JBL system assembled and wired. The fios HDMI is plugged into HDMI 1 on the receiver, and I have an HDMI running from the HDMI Out ARC on the receiver to the HDMI 1 In ARC on my tv, but no video to be seen. The source on the receiver front display is set to HDMI 1 aswell.

I have tried using the RCA plugs temporarily to get video to be able to change the settings, but no luck there either.

What have I done wrong?

Could you please tell me how you solved the problem? I am having the exact same issue. It seems that there is little help for this because it does not seem to be a very popular receiver. Thanks!
