Building currently, last chance before walls close up. I'm planning on running several extra cat6 to various locations I'm case I need later (security cam, by TV's).

I'm not planning on terminating these cables until I need them later. What's the best way to secure them before drywall goes up? Attach to a P ring?

Any other materials I'll need (other than drill, wire ties)? Any suggestions on good places to prewire?

Thanks for the input.

I would pigtail them with a zip tie....then attach zip tie to stud using a staple. Then I would take lots of pics...then after that...a lot more pics:)

Makes it easier tracking them down later when all the drywall is up....trust me!
