Hdbaset 2.0 - any products support it?

The 2.0 spec was announced a year ago but I cannot find any products that support it. I did stumble upon a chip maker that has built silicon that will support 2.0, but I don't see any product. I reached out to Altona and they only support 1.0.

I use Atlona currently, but need to expand and like the USB support in the 2.0 spec.

Does anyone have insight they can share?

Thanks!

Well, that chip maker (Valens) *is* the HDBaseT hardware provider...

The CEDIA Expo in early September is the likely place for us to see actual product announcements.

A few months before you'll see products.

Thanks joe for the reference - will keep an eye out - just thought I would see shipping product since it has been 1 full year.

I can wait a few months before I need to deploy additional extenders. The USB support makes the install I need much cleaner.

I am looking to install a 8x8 HDBaseT (Lite) matrix based AV distribution solution - Wyrestorm or CYP or Octava. I have a 4/5 input sources and 10 rooms to cover (I will mirror into 2 rooms). I have about 5 months of flexibility in terms on when to make my purchase.

Does anyone have a sense of how HDBaseT 2.0 manufacturers will implement point to multipoint and will it reduce the price of switches?
