Suggestions for av distribution solution

I already have an av distribution system. RL-BV2100 - 4 x component input with 8 x cat5 outputs to RL-BV250b receivers BUT...

It appears the rl-bv2100 has sh1t itself. It had a white tinge over all displays and now, after unplugging and plugging back in, it won't show any video on any TV at all. Audio is coming through fine, it's just the video.

I think I need to replace it but am thinking, is there a better quality or better value solution I should consider?

- It is component but all devices in cupboard have HDMI capabilities so can be hdmi
- It's only cabled to 3 rooms/outputs so 4 outputs is prob all I need.
- each room has 2 cat5 cables (1 audio, 1 video) so can use 1 or 2 cable systems

What would you experts recommend?

I'm a fan of the Atlona UHD-Pro3-HD44M. More expensive than a lot of stuff, but actually had 5 outputs (4 Cat5, 1 HDMI). This should be a pretty straight forward swap, at least on the hardware side. If you're thinking to add more inputs in the future, I might consider the HD66M. This is premium dealer only kind of stuff, but you can pretty easily get your hands on it.

I know some guys around here us a Monoprice switcher, just read some reviews first if that's the direction you want to go.
