Hello, now that I have put a screen in front of all my equipment, my IR control doesn't work anymore, because there's no path for it....

what shall I do now? Which are the equipments brand/model that I can use for that?

I use the Hot Link Pro by MicroSmith. My equipment rack is located in a closet in the back of the room and the Hot Link receives the ir signal. You can read more about it at their website.

There are also ir repeaters from Radio Shack, but I didn't have good luck with them. MicroSmith was very helpful when I called them, and willing to provide information on others products that might help. That makes them a good company in my book.

I want to put my comments on the Russound system: I used 1 connecting block model 847, 1 1257 IR Receiver and 3 845 IR Emitter. I had to buy a regulated 12V Power supply.

Well, I can say that the IR receiver is very sensible, that I cannot have any fluorescent light, because it remains continuously on, so I can't control anything.
