So to my absolute chagrin I discovered that the Philips TiVo PVR does not provide RF PassThru

It works fine in my HT room but I want to carry its signal to a distant TV and then use a Xantech IR Injector Kit:
to carry the IR back to the TiVo.
Because there's only one run of CoAx to the distant TV (I only *want* one run of CoAx!) I've come up with the following solution. Can anyone see any problems - has this been done?

Here's hoping this image will load this time - I frequently have GeoCities problems

If the picture does not load, go directly to the URL:
and hit reload a few times or repaste the URL: and click ENTER in the Browser "Location: " box.

Comments? Particularly pointers to good Negative Traps! I am considering two:
First is from Eagle Comtronics:

Second from Microwave Filter:

Anyone have any experience with these? Good sources to buy them (they're like $5-$10 items, so I don't want to pay the same for shipping!)

Overall do you think this setup should work?
