In the HT and other rooms, the Verizon cell signal is weak to a no-go. I know there are wireless extenders to boost the cell phone signal, but I wonder
1. Do they really work?
2. Is the voice quality about the same as with no extender?
3. Boost receive and transmit?
4. Things to look for and lookout for?

Yes, they really do work. Can't say from personal experience, but we have installed these in several companies, and they work. We have installed Spotwave:

It does re-transmit and re-receive the singal, so both should be increased.
