Is there a switch out there that has an optical output and HDMI output?

This is my setup -
Cable HDMI
HD DVD player (A3)

I want to take the HDMI signal to the HDMI splitter box - from there I want an optical audio going to the receiver and HDMI (video) going to my TV.

Is the above possible? Or is there a easier way?
Thanks guys.

never mind...I just saw their prices..and I think that's way out of my budget. It might be cheaper to buy a floor model receiver and use that as a splitter.

You can use a HDMI->DVI + SPDIF box like this:
http://www.markertek.com/SearchProdu...ff=0&sort=prod

And then from there you can convert back to HDMI with a simple adapter.

Or there are a few switches that have coax/optical switching along with HDMI:
http://www.octavainc.com/HDMI%20swit...rt_toslink.htm
http://www.atlona.com/product.php?pr...cat=300&page=1

I don't know if they break the audio out of the HDMI, but maybe you can just run the coax or optical output directly into those. I've never seen an HDMI device that didn't also have a SPDIF output as well.
