Good Evening, all:

I'm looking for anyone who might have the firmware for a CenterStage CS-2 lying around in their computer. I don't care which revision it is (2.03 or 2.07 or later, if there was a later), as I've had a strange malfunction with the CenterStage that requires reflashing. I accidentally overstepped the number of custom resolutions that you can have stored at once, and now it doesn't want to store any at all! A re-flash should sort that out.
I contacted Focus Enhancements; they can't locate the firmware anymore, so that route is cut off for me. So, if you had one of these units, could you take a look around in your old stuff on the computer and see if you have the firmware still lying around? I'd be greatly appreciative, and I'd be happy to PayPal you 10.00USD for your time.

PM me; lemmie know if you have the goods!

Thanks a ton!
-Red.

Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you!

Did I mention, thank you?!

It figures: 5 days of playing telephone/email tag with the company gets me nowhere, 3 hours on here gets me everywhere! The reflash worked; the unit is back to normal now!

Thank you!!!

I spent at least that amount of time trying to get FE to fix an SDI bug / defect in their CS-2 (they never fixed it) and this was when the product was still supported / shipping. Anyways good that you are up and running again.

Ouch. Yeah, this is my first (and last) FE product. I realize that they don't officially support it anymore, but to really say that someone who has one of their former flagship products is SOL....not cool. Seems like they have a few bugs in this product line that were never corrected. Kinda sad.

Thanks again!

Hi,
Thanks for the information and the firmware update.
I know this is an old thread but I have a CS-2 and I would like to use their software to charge the firmware and or to set up other options. Is there somebody who can provide this software?

thanks for your help

Are you still in need of CS2 remote software? I have it in storage, but will find it if you still need it.

PM me with an email address for me to send you the CS-2 stuff. Although I believe I have the stuff for all the models, there were at least two CS-2 models that I recall, which one do you have?
