hi there,

i got a question....i could get a scaler from a friend pretty cheap he got 2. i can buy one....but i dont know wich one fits better for my equipment,

i can choose from dvdo 50 (not pro) and dvdo edge

i am watching on a epson tw3000 1080p projector

80% of the time i use it for tv (mostly 80% 1080i / 20% pal)
15% gaming or watching movies via ps3
5% gaming on wii

wich one would be a better choice?

thanks for help!

Let us know what you expect from the VP. I own a VP50 which I use in my HT with a 2.37:1 ratio screen. The VP does the signal processing and scaling. The edge is newer and supported but until you tell us what your needs are we can't make a suggestion.

How do the upscaling from 720p/1080i to 1080p look on these two VPs compared to the duo?
