I have the onkyo tx-nr809 with the HQV chip and it works great. Is there a unit available with the HQV chip that doesn't cost a fortune. I need one for the bedroom and don't want to buy another onkyo. I just want the video processing.

I'm interested, too. When the Vida was first touted, over a year ago, there was talk of $100 single-line, stand-alone video processing. Then nothing more until the current crop of AVRs. I've heard nothing else.

Just a thought:
It's not $100 and it's not HQV, but DVDO's Edge can be had for $500. (Makes buying another AVR seem less extravagant, doesn't it? )

Man, for $100 I would jump all over that. I would even go $200, But for $400 I might as well get the onkyo.
