I believe is the right sub-forum, however, if it is not mods feel free to move to the appropriate one, thank you!

I'm looking for a video switcher where I can take four laptops with VGA out and switch video between them. They key part is I need it to be seamless (no black screen, just fade from source to source when switching). I've used the Barco Presentation Pro (replaced by DCS-100) which worked well although MSRP is $6k and out of my budget. I also saw the Kramer VP-728 which may provide a solution but do not need all those inputs.

Any recommendations or thoughts on where to look?

Thank you!

Hi, did you get any useful info on a seamless switch for switching inputs without the black screen ?

I have the same problem, where you have to go huge just to get a smooth transition.
