Decided to add a lumagen to my theater- Not sure which one to get- I have a Sim2 PJ, Classe SSP-800 processor,Oppo 93 BR, cable box, HDDVD, and maybe an x box- I can get an 3dxe demo or the new 2021 for roughly the same price- Which one would you guys recommend and why- Also can i run my Pj and my plasma from the Lumagen or only one - Thanks so much for the input!!

I can't answer specifically which one as I'm not sure of the differences, however I will say that there is no need to chose a specific model just to be able to feed a TV and a projector: I have a Mini 3D which has a HDMI splitter on the output and I feed 3 displays. It's just a matter of setting up the memories to suit each display, so I have memories A-D for each display (two memories for the projector for with and without the A lens).

Having said that, so long as the 2012 has all the inputs you need then I'd be inclined to go for that option since you get the Darbee effect option built in (which can be set differently for each memory or even resolution so very much more flexible than having an external Darbee as I have, even if the actual picture quality would end up the same if the settings were the same).

Zooming: Been there, done that, bought the lens...

Hello.

The question is: what do you need for your setup ?

If you need:
- 6 HDMI inputs
- many Analog video and audio (2ch) inputs
- many coax and optical inputs and outputs
- PiP/PoP video processing but no Darbee

Then you should buy a XE-3D.

If you don't care about analog inputs/outputs, PiP/PoP processing and you need:
- 4 HDMI inputs
- 1 coax output
- Darbee

Then you should buy a 2021. Moreover the 2021 has a new FPGA with some room left so Lumagen might add some features later on (this is my guess)

XE and 2021 are identical except for the things listed above.

I'm french .... sorry for my english
