Is this a dumb question?

Is the Anamorphic squeeze that the Lumagen does going to be better than the built in?



Also, does anyone use a Lumagen for upconverting any Laserdiscs to a projector?

Bump.

I actually have an XE3D. My installer claims both JVC and Panamorph say the JVC scaling for anamorphic content is better than the Lumagen. Who is right ?

Well you can try them both out and see for yourself seeing as you have both items....Accepted wisdom is that Lumagens scaling is the best there is....(of course, i am the Lumagen distributor for most of europe so i would say that....).

I'm slightly color blind. I bought the scaler as I had read it was the cats meow and needed a HDMI switcher anyway, so I 'm not sure what i'd be looking for.

Hopefully someone else will reply as well.
