My Arcam receiver and Dune HD Solo mediaplayer are capable of handling 4K, and so will my JVC projector that arrives next week. But... my good old Pioneer Kuro can't. Could i use this device to DOWNSCALE a 4K signal to 1080P?

That way i could let my Dune output 4K through the Arcam to the projector, and also to the Kuro, where it will be downscaled to 1080P.
