HDFury Linker long HDMI Handshake

When I hook up my Linker in order to get my JVC RS500 to use a custom gamma and utilize the Dynamic Iris when showing HDR, it takes awhile for the Linker to sync. I thought at first it was bandwidth, but it's definitely not that as I watched 5 hours of no-dropout movies yesterday. The only time there was a delay was when resolution changed or I changed source on my Denon X7200WA. Is this normal?

JVC RS500, Denon 7200WA, 7.2.4 Atmos/DTSX dedicated Theater. 133" Dalite 1.3 screen. M&K S150 + K7 ear level, 4 Tannoy DC overheads.

I'm running firmware 24, the latest that was on the site last week. What I get is a menu, I press play, I get the usual JVC lag, I get a blue screen saying no input, then about 10-30s in it goes black for 17 seconds or so then I get the content. There are no dropouts after this.

Use FW0.23 or wait FW0.25

FW0.24 was made for sync testing and not optimized as it is for any setup, it will be discarded when 0.25 comes out.

Other JVC owners can more likely give indication of their sync times so you know what to target.

It looks like we now have a couple of Linker threads started - this one and one about new firmware.

Would it make sense for someone to start a Linker owner's thread so that HDFury (and others) only need to follow one thread?
