I can't find any instruction on how to change the sync polarities in my HD manual. Please direct me to the correct section. Thanks!

Look in Output Setup under Sync. Page 11 in the HD manual. Separate polarities were introduced with the 1.31 firmware, so you need to read the addendum to see that information, but as long as you have the updated firmware the different polarities will be available to you under the SYNC option.
