This is for someone wanting the best. It is not cheap but it is packed with features currently not found in anyother unit at this price. Some high end video companies are looking to add this to their line.
You can find it in our quick store under video accesories.

The CVT-100 transcoder provides features and performance not previously offered in a single video component. DC coupled circuitry maintains the highest possible bandwidth providing stunning picture clarity. The CVT-100 has been designed from its inception as an interface for the owners of data/graphics grade projectors lacking component video interfacing. The need for a high quality component such as this exists now as HDTV has been introduced with a large segment of projector owners presently unable to take advantage of this new technology.

Auto source detection circuitry with bi-level and tri-level sync locks on to all signals between 15.75 kHz and 100 kHz regardless of being interlaced or progressive scan. Owners of STB (set top boxes) with “wysiwig†output will appreciate this feature since it enables them to be able to view 480p, 720p, and1080i signals at will.

The CVT-100 offers unique copyguard circuitry to deal with problems commonly associated with a wide variety of video projectors. Macrovision encoding can cause compatibility issues with a number of projectors and DVD players/VHS machines. The CVT-100 eliminates the common flashing and banding problems that occur yielding rock steady images.

I think you mean it is located in the store under "Video Processors" (there is no "video accessories").

The porpose of this unitr is for those who have a source with component output but have a display divise with only rgb inputs. This will take component out and turn it into rgb so your source is now compabible with your display devise.
