> Using music headphones to answer business phone?
I've been trying to find information on this, and I am at a complete and total loss at finding anything.
I use my Bose headphones at work to listen to music. I connect them to my iPod Touch. When I get a phone call on my business phone (not a cell phone, a standard business phone), I wish I could just press a button or something, and switch from listening to my music to talking on the phone.
Bose makes a cable for my headphones that has a mic in it. It's for connecting to an iPhone. Is there some sort of switch box into which I can plug my headphones (using the aforementioned cable with mic), as well as my iPod Touch, and my business phone's handset line, with some sort of button to switch between the music and the phone?
If anyone has ANY thoughts on the subject, I'd greatly appreciate it. By the way, the main reason I want to do this is because I work in a noisy environment, and my Bose noise-reducing headphones would be perfect for talking on the phone.
Thanks in advance.
Close, but not quite. It's for a computer.
Google phone headset source switch, there are more out there.
Thanks. I'll try it and see what I find.
