Can anyone recommend some sturdy headphones? I mean well constructed. I use them almost exclusively for working out. They need to have good sound quality and be sweat resistant. I prefer earbuds, but can deal with the headband type if they work. There must not be any tugging on the "ear" part when running. No real budget in mind. I'll weigh price vs performance.
I listen to heavy metal and industrial to work out. I find that pumps my adrenaline and keeps me going even when I don't want to. The headphones must be capable of reproducing several frequencies at once, like a good speaker. (insert plug for Aperion ☺)
Please no hate, but my wife got me the Bose earbuds for my 30th birthday. Actually, they made my iPod sound excellent. Much better than the stock Apple earbuds. No complaints from me, and I didn't buy them.
Now, 4 years later, the wire seems to be split inside the jack end. At the right-angle molded piece. Only the left one works and even cuts out when wiggled just right. I guess the years of running and wiggling have taken their toll.
I am a 2M technician, so I can cut the end and solder a new jack on, but I'd rather not. I'm out to sea at the moment anyways and don't have an extra jack on hand. I just want to hit the NEX and be confident I'm getting a quality headphone.
The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll whisper "no."
