Thanks!

Chris,

You send me a old version of AC Ryan player, which EOL months ago. You promised to refund immediately once you have the unit. You have received the returned unit 10 days ago. But you still don't honor your word.

Your reply on November 23, 2010:

Just send it. ÀS soon ÀS I get it ill refund the purchase

Sent from my android device.

Your reply on December 2, 2010:

Yes sir. I will be sending you an update tomorrow

Your reply on December 8, 2010:

It will be processed over nite. Please check in the morning

You had claimed in AVS before that you are the No.1 reseller for AC Ryan. That's the reason why I bought the player from you. Why don't you keep your promises?

Paypal won't let me refund more that than purchase price. Please PM me with the email address that I can directly send the difference too.

What the hell?
All my movies on hdd seem to have just disappeared. I can't say the hdd was accidentally formatted, as the folders on it (movie, pictures, music) are seen, so is the 3D sub-folder inside the "movie" folder. I took a look in "system" at my hdd, it says 17gb free (out of 500), so it's not re-formatted. But when I browse to my 3D folder, it shows empty. Have I lost almost 500 gig of 3d movies just like that?
I tried to register on acryan forum, but they never sent an activation e-mail.
Anybody knows what's going on?
Thanks

This an internal drive? On the XTreamer there is a know issue I believe with the firmware that handles the file system, such that it can nuke files/data!? Suspect it's a realtek issue so wouldn't be susprised if the Ryan suffers from the same issue?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm talking about the internal hdd, that was actually the reason why I bought the Playon, as network streaming doesn't work well with mkv+dts audio+vobsub. I thought I was done with streaming, but no luck.

No, I couldn't see the files on the network either, when I ftp-ed to the Playon all i could see were the three folders (videos, pictures, music), with the 3D sub-folder in the video folder, but empty. And as I said, in "system" the hdd showed 17 gig free out of 500.
Unfortunately I was replying to Neil's post while you posted, I didn't get the chance to read your post and I formatted the drive. Indeed, I didn't think about trying to connect the hdd to my comp to see, although I can only guess I'd have got the same result.
Fortunately I didn't delete the 3D folder on my comp after moving it to Playon . So I formatted the hdd in the playon and I'll try to copy them back again through the usb port, which means another 3 hrs or so, as we're talking about almost 500 gig of mkv's and the usb trasfer seems pretty slow too.
This time I'll try to just drop the 3D folder on the root of the hdd without that folder structure and see what happens. I only need the internal hdd for 3d movies anyway, as the rest of the mkv+srt work ok by streaming.
