I love the concept of a dedicated device. I have three Win7 Media PC's all streaming off my Synology NAS server. I am simply tired of the maintenance and reliability of the Media PC's. I develop software for a living, I just want a relatively plug and play experience at home.

That being said, I have the o!play. I am pretty happy with the playback and features, although spartan. A richer UI would be nice... but not necessary.

One thing that would make it perfect is a clear QAM tuner. I have hauppauge 2250 tuners in each Media pc, which work quite well.

So, do any of these devices have this built in, without a need for a third party server or device.

Thanks in advance.
Jeff

I have no experience with what the o!play can do as a client but I use HDhomerun devices as my networked (ATSC or Clear-QAM) tuners (two to a device) and they work great with Windows Media Center clients as well as with XBMC clients.

I should point out that I'm not trying to record any transmissions, just play them live.

If you must have clients with built-in tuners, I can't offer any help.

A guy wrote a plugin for the PCH to talk to the HDHR boxes... doesn't work with the C-200 afaik. Only the 100 and 110.
