Windows7 Home Premium 64 bit
I have a My Passport USB drive Connected to my WDTV Live which is wired to my D-Link router. I have no problem downloading directly to the My Passport drive from Vuze, I can play all movies on the drive on both my TV and my PC, I can access the My Passport from my PC and I have no issues in accessing and playing or viewing any media from all shared folders on my PC from the WDTV live.
What is strange is that I cannot write or copy files between My PC and the My Passport (although I can delete files from it via the PC) The transfer appears to start but after a few minutes comes up with A Network Error "Make sure you are connected to the network".
I am wondering if it is an Ownership/Permissions issue. the current Owner is root (Unix User\
oot and I am denied access when I try to change Ownership.
