Anydvd hd will do that if you use it to rip but I just use it to break the copy protection and region codes. ..I use the BD cloner and you can pick how you want it ripped iso, whole file or partial file with partial you get just the main movie and you could add or remove extras , audio streams and subtitles

I only see one version of Interstellar on my retail disc from BestBuy. It ripped without issues.

Just taking a quick look and it looks like it's like other Christopher Nolan IMAX films. Some scenes fill the screen which should be the IMAX filmed ones and some scenes have the black bars which I guess are the non-IMAX scenes.

There's only one version, with variable aspect ratio. But not for long as I'm going to make a cropped version as long as the framing looks reasonable.

There are no extras on the Interstellar Movie disc from my BestBuy version. The extras are on one BD and the Movie is by itself on another BD.

This is just like it was in the IMAX movie theater. Aspect ratios changed with different scenes. Just like other Christopher Nolan movies that had some IMAX scenes.

So Interstellar is simple to rip with one playlist and no forced subs. And for those wanting to watch in constant scope AR, a centre 2.39:1 crop looks fine. In Handbrake that's 1920x804, with 138 pixels cropped top and bottom.
