Pioneer announced 2 new networked audio media streamers today prior to CES 2012.

The Elite N50 http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...-Fi+Audio/N-50

The Elite N30 http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...-Fi+Audio/N-30

To me they both fail out of the block because they only support either DLNA or Airplay for local networked media, they do not include wireless ability but support it with extra cost adapaters, they do not support hdmi output and they do not support more than 2 channel output.

Why do companies keep doing this?

I'm actually interested in that N-50, but can't seem to find it for sale anywhere online, not even at any of the authorized dealers that Pioneer lists on their own site.
