I am looking to find a device that fits my needs, in order of priority:
1. 1080p capable
2. Stream H.264 from network share (samba)
3. Stream Netflix
4. Stream Amazon VOD
(optional/nice to have) 5. Plays Blu-Rays

At first I was thinking of buying a boxee box, but that doesn't do Amazon VOD
Then I looked into a Roku, but that won't stream from a network share w/out converting files and running a webserver (yuck)

I realize I could build an Media Center PC, but then I won't have a jazzy little remote to go along with it, and I'd rather just get something that works out-of-the-box.

Any suggestions?
TIA,
-BassKozz

Most people in your situation go for a 2 box solution

Dune b1 for local media and roku for internet content
