Hi I have a Sony media player and very happy that it picks up content from my nas and view to my tv but is there anyway to set something up or any hardware so that I can view online sites, there are some already I the unit (iplayer, ch5 online, lovefilms) there is no 4od and I was wondering if there was a way to set up a way to stream web pages to the device! And any way to pick up other websites that have playable content!
I know this sounds like a big ask but anything would help
Cheers

Easiest way to do that is plug your computer into your TV via HDMI or VGA. You're wanting your limited-content-supplied Sony media player to act like a computer. Why not just plug your computer in, share your computer's display with the TV and "stream" away. You'll get any and every website you want, that way.

Yes that what I was doing for ages but found it a pain to keep bringing the laptop up and down all the time, plus you have the cables everywhere, just trying to look for a fixed solution if I could.

Check out Serviio DLNA server. It supports setting up live streams.
