Are there any choices besides ATV? Ive heard ATV2 performance is sluggish with xbmc is that true?

I only want xbmc for the addons, I have a seperate box office for my local content, just want a cheap xbmc + addon solution.

thanks

Rasberry Pi when available, is supposed to be able to run XBMC - It's not really a Box - actually it's a small computer currently available to pre-order on a board only - and you'll have to load an OS on it (Debian seems to be one of the preferred choices currently) - I don't expect it to be 'speedy' by any means, but you've gotta love the price, $35

Do you mean the codec support is limited for viewing content in XBMC or in local media/files?
