I'm looking at ditching cable. I can get most of what I can thru hulu and my own media server.

I saw that Boxee now offers a box that I could stream from my media server as well as get OTA signal. Any others out there have that option?
(I dont really care about the DVR part of Boxbee.)

XBMC's PVR feature can do OTA but you need a server running in the background somewhere. If your server is a PC then that makes it a lot easier to hook up a tuner to it & install the software. Some off the shelf linux NAS can also do it too like TVheadend is available for QNAP NAS and Thecus also have it I think.

The PVR feature is very new on XBMC but it's just about ready for general use now, the Pivos XIOS with it's XBMC linux only firmware is getting PVR support in the next beta release at least it seems that way from the talk on the Pivos forums.
