I have a ski condo and I'm interested in accessing my shows on my dvr at home so I can watch them on my tv while I'm there.

This is what I've come up with:

Option 1)

I can use a slingplayer to access the content. I currently don't have internet at the condo, but I could get it.

I see that I can hook up a WD TV Live or Sony Internet Player with Google tv to the television there.

Has anyone had experience with this and does it work well?

Ideally, I'd rather have this functionality in a bluray player so I don't need another box. Especially since a blu ray player has all those other apps anyway, but I could deal with another box if necessary.

Option 2)

Convert my existing cablebox at my home to a tivo box.

I could use a Tivo Stream to move the shows to my iPad and I could bring that with me.

I like this approach because I wouldn't need to pay for internet at the condo, but as far as I know, there would be no way to watch the shows on my tv. Is there any way to watch the shows on my tv there instead of the iPad? I believe AppleTV projects the iPad onto the tv screen, but I think it's selective in that it won't show whatever you have. Is that correct?

Option 3)
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help.
