Anyone have any clue why Amazon's Instant Video streaming service is disappearing from devices? I looked today at Best Buy and there were none of the DVD players that had it.

Recently I purchased a LG TV and also their little $30 network device that streams such services. Instant video is shown on the box and it was there till i did a firmware
update and then it was gone.

Amazon must have pissed somebody off big time.

Probably just Amazon doing some service on their system. I've got it on my Roku and it works fine.

You may want to look at the devices support page for more information....A device usually ahs to be certified to work with any service, so the update may have lost the certification...This happens all the time with streaming services and sometimes companies decide to no longer work with services so they get removed:

I dont see a lack of devices, Amazon however has bever been as big as NetFlix so the devices its available on are limited...
