I found this tutorial on the web for the "MakeMKV for dummies", like me.smile.gif

Sort of self explanatory I would think, there's not much else you can do but put in disc and makemkv spits out the videos as lossless mkv files.

Now there are some other advanced functions but those have to be enabled via settings so regular users don't see them.
