I am looking for a media player that I can rip blurays to that still keeps all the functionality of the disc ( audio, video, menus ). I don't want to hook it up to my computer to rip the blurays so it needs to have its own drive. Although it will be connected to my home network and probably a NAS. From what I kinda see, it seems like the PCH-300 or Dune Max HD is what I'm looking for, although not 100% sure they both come with a bluray drive. This will only be used for movies since i have an ATV3 for music and stuff. Ultimately I would like to turn on the player, browse through a library, select a movie and press play.
Thanks

Maybe I should just go the k-scape route. See if the bank will approve me for that loan😳

Good luck with that. K-Scape or HTPC is about as good as it gets.

So even if they have a disc drive, I can't rip blurays to the hard drive?

Correct.

The ripping and tagging software would need to run on a PC, and the drives in the media players are not easily accessible to the PC. Like Olyteddy, the only solutions I know for ripping, tagging and playing are Kaleidescape and an HTPC.
