I've recently been mostly watching MP4 videos on my xbox 360, but it lags when I play 1080P MP4's. When I play them on my PC, they run just fine, but I've been wondering what are the best Media Players that output in 1080i. My TV is a Panasonic CT26WX15N and only does 480i,480p, and 1080i.

The xbox should handle 1080p just fine. Are you on a wireless or wired network?

I suspect your network is the problem.

I play my movies directly off my USB drive. But I noticed, if the resolution of the video is 720P, it plays them perfectly without any lag or screen tearing. So i'm assuming its the 360 since its kinda picky with MP4's. Are there any alternatives to what media player works best on a 1080i crt?
