Hey guys/gals.
I already have a WDTV Live plus for Hulu, etc.

I have a Synology DS412+ on the way and have heard that the WDTV is not the best for streaming local content, unless I was told wrong?

I was kind of checking out the Dune players and Mede8er,but not sure which one would be better for my needs.
Besides the typical stuff, backup, music, videos, etc I would also like to play my bluray movies on my nas through it. MKV,ISO,etc

So what are your guys suggestions?

Wd play all my local content perfectly, it is my go to unit for anything local. The ONLY minor drawback is the lack of DTS HD, but for me that is a minor issue since the DTS core is there. For me there is no reason to pay 2 or 3 times the price of a WD for equipment that does not give me 2 or 3 times the performance.
