Hi all,

New in this forum, I would like to get advise and information about what kind of 3D output signal my A-400 need to produce to be able to work with my upgraded Optoma HD65 3D ready projector. Now I understood that for packet streams, HSBS, you need to have the Optoma 3D-XL convertor. I hope I'm not wrong but shouldn't the Optoma HD65 work with Frame Sequential signals? However does the A-400 output Frame Sequential 120hz signals? If so is it possible to convert HSBS to Frame Sequential?

Bit confused?

Now I'm only interested in 3D for the kids, I still like the quality of this projector a lot and it does well in 720P. An upgrade to full 3D will set me back a few thousand bucks what I could consider but will it be so much better than the 720p upgraded version. The Optoma 3D-XL convertor is hardly available on the market but can get it around 300 bucks.

Any advise is welcome.

Regards,
Eddy
