I have purchased a WD Live Hub Media Streaming Device but I do not own a DLNA Certified Receiver.

I am just curious what my options will be to play streaming movies from the HD Live Hub through the DLNA Certified A/V Receiver (when I buy it) to play either 5.1 or 7.1 movies.

What are some of the "connectivity" options for this scenario (am I correct that the options are the following?)

a. HD Live Hub (HMDI out) to A/V Receiver (HDMI in) > AV Receiver HDMI out (for video) to the HDMI In on TV (for video)
(under this scenario can receivers be programmed to send the video out of the receiver to the projector/TV while sending/ keeping
the audio sent out the the A/V Receiver speakers?)

b. HD Live Hub (HDMI out) To TV/Projector > Then Audio/RCA Cables out of the TV to the A/V Receiver (RCA Cables/Audio Input) eek.gif

Both a and b are possible but of course you will only get stereo with b

DLNA has no bearing on this. The receiver HDMI pass-through automatically passes video, there is nothing to program you have no control over any of this.
