I'm looking for a device that will allow me to stream content from my living room cable box DVR to my bedroom TV, and obviously include an IR blaster to allow me to control the DVR. I don't want something like a Slingbox, as I don't need to access it over the Internet, and with a Slingbox I would need a HTPC in my bedroom to connect to my TV. I just want a simple box that I can connect to my bedroom TV to receive the content from my DVR.

Does anybody know of something that would fit?

Thanks.

Are you using a DVR from your cable provider or a 3rd party?

I found the Terk Leapfrog, but that only transmits SD.
http://www.amazon.com/Terk-Technologies-Leapfrog-LF-30S-Distribution/dp/B00009UHXR/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1373469871&sr=8-7&keywords=terk

Then there's a device by Nyrius, but it seems like the range is questionable, and it only works reliably with line of sight or very little obstruction.

So far it's not too promising.

Yeah I'm not aware of any device that allows you to share content from one provider box to another device but my knowledge is limited to the Motorola boxes from Verizon.

If this was a req for me, I'd junk the cable box dvr and build a small HTPC around Win7MCE and stick a cheap used xbox 360 ($100) in the BR. Would be able to junk the bedroom cable box too (presumambly there's one there too). Chances are, you'll make your money back in a year+.
