Plex support as in an official Plex Client release? None that I can think of other than HTPC.

You can get BD ISO support through Dune Smart Series players, with Emplexer Dune Interface.

Hi,

After struggling with PCH and it's new plex app.

I couldn't for the life of me get PCH's plex app to play files with higher bitrates than 6Mbps.

Then i switched to samba and anything above 16 Mbps wouldn't play with PCH.

Then i tried to swtich to NFS but whs2011 doesn't support it with flexraid. however i set one drive not on flexraid with NFS and anything above 25 Mbps was not playing.

Then i wired up my LG Tv which has Plex and viola, i can play everything even 45 Mbps files. I even get the audio through hdmi to my "ARC" (audio return channel) enabled receiver and soundbar. This is absolutely amazing that LG Tv can fully support plex which none of the other dedicated and more expensive network media players cannot.

I used to own a PCH-A210 (also a PCH-A300, which I returned after a 1 week), and I didn't have any issued streaming high bitrated BD content such as ISO, MKV or M2TS files. I don't like the PCH interface and how the jukebox works. So, I sold it and got a 2nd Dune media player.

I've hear a lot of good things about Plex.

Plex is great, even for my Dune HD TV-303D. I can play high bitrate MKVs wireless, via http:. Samba and NFS don't work correctly, due to a software bug in the Plex software within the DUNE player, conflicting with Windows. This is a work in progress. May hold onto the DUNE a little longer, until I switch to the zappiti mini-player, since DUNE doesn't have a single stable 3rd party music jukebox.

I think the inability of pch 210 to play files with more than 25 Mbps even with NFS is due to 100 Mbps lan. May pch 300 would be better how I tried my LG some test files with LG+plex and it was able to play files all the way upto 60Mbps without a problem.

Buffering started with files of 70mbps and more. Now 60 mbps is more than the design data range of BD so till 4k comes out, I am safe with my Lg tv.

The Popcorn hour has gone into my storage of obsolete junk.

Almost all the 3d players out there will handle it. By full if you mean Menus and such then no PC is your only option. If you just mean play a 1:1 iso without menu, then PCH/Dune/Mede8er all fit the bill. If you are wanting to do this over plex you can use the dune and the plex client as it functions a bit different it does not use plex as an http server it has a read the samba path option so you get plex jukebox but samba playback.
